But it is natural that everyone is curious to know what the education system will be like when the first school is opened in Ahmedabad. Organized school in Ahmedabad started on It happened on 08th January 1827. The school near Panchkoova Seth Lalbhai Dalpatbhai Mun. School no. It was known as 1. The first principal of this first school was Mulashankar Pranshankar Joshi. Later in the year 1848 British officer Alexander Kinlock Forbes and poet Dalpatram founded the Gujarat Vernacular Society together. The first girls school was started in the year 1851 with the financial assistance provided by Bahadur Shethani Hakkunwarba of the city then the regular building of this school was built in the year 1852 with the financial assistance of Seth Maganlal Karamchand.
