 Jaisalmer city in the district of Jaisalmer nestled in the heart of the Thar Desert on India’s western border boasts the distinction of being the largest district in the country surpassing even the expanse of Kerala state. Yet its past was marred by hardships with scant resources and basic facilities leaving residents to struggle. Medical care was particularly lacking forcing locals to rely solely on government services even for routine surgeries. There are a lot of villages in and around Jaisalmer city which look upon this hospital for all medical facilities. One of the biggest hospitals in Jaisalmer district. Our hospital covers many villages surrounding Jaisalmer city. Fueled by a deep-rooted desire to uplift their homeland expatriates turned their gaze towards the medical field recognizing its pivotal role in the region’s development alongside prospects in tourism mineral industries and the Indira Gandhi Canal Project. Thus with a fervent commitment to address the pressing healthcare needs the decision was made to establish the Shri Maheshwari Hospital and Research Center.
